Introduction:
Shree Dhanwantari Sevabhavi Pratisthan (SDSP) was established on 24th Oct. 2000. On the occassion of ‘Dhantrayodashi’(Dhanvantari Jayanti) with the aim ‘ Sarve Santu Niramayah’ To render the best possible Healthcare services at least possible expenses. It is registered under Charitable Society Act & Public Trust Act. SDSP is Non Profit Organization. It is non-political in nature & having non-discriminating against caste, creed, region ,religion and gender.
The organization was founded by a group of HealthCare Professionals, Agriculturist & Social workers having rural background with rich experience in medical field specially Biomedicine, Indian Systems of Medicines (AYUSH) and Social Science at grassroot & National Level.
Location:
SDSP’s registered office is at Hippalgaon Tq. Ahmedpur ,in Latur District of Maharashtra state in India .It is 550 KM east to the state Capital. i.e. Mumbai.
The Village is well connected by Road & also having limited access to railway and Sushrut Ayurved Hospital & research Center, is located at Udgir , Dist. Latur. 35 Km from Hippalgaon. It is well connected by Road & Rail.

Social transformation through innovation inspired by Ayurveda , Yoga, Natural , Social & Biomedical Sciences & Technology, with the help which to provide an affordable and equitable Healthcare services and preferably to reach out to the unaffordable ,the under- served & the unreachable.

Inspire minds to design and execute socially impactful research , education and outreach programs in Integrative Health Care Services & other fields of knowledge. To work for holistic health care specially in Non-Communicable & Chronic Diseases. To Create Healthy Society by providing Health education and Preventive, Curative, Palliative and Rehabilitative measures.

Our Sushrut Ayurved Hospital & Research Center , Udgir (SAH&RC) is committed to provide appropriate, optimum & quality healthcare services to the patients from all sections and strata’s of society, with a sense of social commitment . This charitable organization established its identity as professionally excellent, socially oriented & ethically nurtured.
Since inception of the trust free Diagnostic Camps, Specially on Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Heart disease, Piles Fistula, Gynaecological Disorders , Arthritis, Vertebral Dics Lesions, Anaemia, also Child health Check up camps, Suvarna Prashan Camps in rural area were arranged, also organized free medical camps during calamities of epidemic diseases like Chiken Guniya, Swine Flue, Covid-19 Pandemic, etc.
Also organised Seasonal Panchakarma Camps i.e. Vasantik Vamankarma, Shardiya VirechanKarma & Rakta Mokshan also Varshakalin Bastikarma Shibir in every Year, for promotion of Preventive health Care , also organised free Yoga & Pranayam Camps to create awareness in masses. To create Awareness about Healthy Living and Different Lifestyle Diseases, Health Education Camps were organised in association with various Institutions, NGOs. Schools & Colleges in the surrounding areas.
National Seminars, Workshops, CMEs are organized regularly for medical students & doctors in this area with an intention to update their knowledge & make them aware of the recent advanced technology & medicines. Which can be applied for the betterment of the patients at root level.
The trust over a period of time has instituted several Awards to honour contributions of experts in various fields of activities, we strives to encourage & recognize commitment & achievement in the field of Indian System of Medicine & allied Sciences. i. e. Life Time Achievement & Young Scientist Awards.

Ayurvedic Multi speciality Services are given at very low cost compare to elsewhere in the private sector. Hospital has a well equipped Panchakarma, Keraliyan Therapies , Ksharsutra & Agnikarma Departments are working since 20 Years, Many patients benefited with this treatments.
